I am an artist and my medium is life. My

I am an artist
and my medium is life.

My world is my canvas.

My thoughts and ideas
are the colors and shade.

I mix them at will.
I get messy.
I experiment.

I push to the edges.
I see how far I can go.
I don’t accept anything
at first brush.

I make it how I want,
there are no rules.

If I don’t like it, I paint over.
I create something new
or start again.

I cannot win or lose at this.

My art isn’t right
or wrong.

My perception is my creation,
my creation is my experience,
my experience is my masterpiece,

a constantly evolving
work of art.

I do not emulate “the greats”,
I am inspired by them.
I make it my own.
I pass it on.

That’s my gift.
The human gift.

The adding of a work to
the halls of infinity.

A cacophony of feeling,
open to interpretation.

The essence of a
moment in time.

An expression of freedom.
A contribution to the whole.
A shapeshifting light that

won’t go out.

I am an artist,

What would it take for receiving money, gifts or support to feel totally natural to me? Close your eyes and feel into that and write down what comes up.

I am asking you this today because I see a lot of ‘you need to be in a super high vibe and celebrate everything’ stuff out in the field and I want to bust this myth for anyone who doesn’t resonate with it. You CAN celebrate everything of course, and if it feels good, keep doing it!

But you do not HAVE to be ‘high vibe’ to call into your life what you want to experience, you just have to be in agreement with yourself. That’s it. The majority of you has to be on board with it.

There are many things I have not successfully been able to create in my life and when I get honest with myself, even though I THOUGHT I was all on board, I know that the reason I was not able to create that yet is that there is still major conflict in me about that thing. Not all of me is on board with it for various reasons that become more and more apparent to me over time.

But once MOST of me is in agreement and on board and comfortable with it, it pops right into my life.

For me, the things that manifest most beautifully and with ease are things that feel, or that I have acclimated myself to feel, are natural to me.

Life is not a game of punishment and reward. Though I know that nearly every part of you has been trained to believe it is.

It is hard wired in us through a bootcamp of cultural, systemic and religious conditioning that you didn't sign up for but are a part of nonetheless.

But if we want to be free we must divorce our mind from the concept of DESERVING as a reward for our actions, our doing, our achieving, and our "goodness" or "purity".

'Deserving' walks hand and hand with perfectionism. For me, it's a dangerous game. When I hear it, it makes my soul twitch. It denies the truth I know: that ALL beings deserve goodness, care, love and support. And that things going our way, or not, is not a reward or a punishment for being better, not good enough yet, or worse.

There are natural consequences to our choices, to be sure. And those will vary, based on those choices and our beliefs and current reality. But they are not being doled out by a vengeful authority who wants to grow you up. Nor are they being doled out by an authority that celebrates you.

Life is ALWAYS celebrating you. ❤️

Because it is experiencing itself and knowing itself as you, even when you mess up real bad. And that is RICH stuff for an infinite cosmic show that has no end.

But we are free to choose to believe there is a judgmental presence that is rewarding or punishing us based on our current level of deserving. And it will be true for us in that case.

There are no wrong answers. This isn't a test. You get to see it the way you see it. And what you look for you'll find. But maybe just ask yourself what kind of world you want to live in? An unconditionally loving one whether you win or lose, or do it 'right' or 'wrong' as you're stumbling through this human journey...

Or one that you have to scramble your whole life on earth to earn your place in, and can never quite seem to get there or know ever good enough?

Don't save heaven for the afterlife.
Don't save the afterlife for this one.

Unconditionally loving all-supportive presence is available to you in THIS life, here now. And you can find it anytime...

Just look in your heart. ❤️💗💞

Do you recognize yourself flip flopping between powerlessness and empowerment?

Between believing yourself to be a creator of your life experience in one moment, and then the next moment feeling like it’s all totally random or predestined and you have no say whatsoever?

Then this article is for you. (And for me, because HELLO humanity.)

Perhaps you don’t know what to really believe? Perhaps you have gone back and forth between knowing you are truly empowered and responsible for creating your reality, and that life is reflecting what you think and believe at all times, and is not judging you for anything at all, and is kind and supportive to all that you desire…

to utter powerlessness and victim consciousness and feeling that while you may create some of your experience, life is really just random and chaotic or in someone/something else’s power and you are at its whim and mercy. And that it wants something for you and FROM YOU that you don’t necessarily want for yourself, because it “knows better” than you. (i.e. seeing “god” as your elders/parents)

but then who is there

front?

that which emanates from
your heart is there before you
being created…

how can you be there with
your head turned round
the other way?

when it is, your future
becomes a replica
of the past,

because that is
where you were
looking.

eyes open, beloved,

heart open in the
back and
front.

whatever passes from
behind you passes
through you and is

transformed

by the space of loving
trust you hold
for life.
