You love your work, you love what you do, it is th

You love your work, you love what you do, it is the most natural thing for you, you are lit up and fully alive in that… but when it comes time to offer and sell it, it feels awful and like a drag and some chore you have to perform. It is the opposite of natural feeling, and that is why you detest it.

That’s because the one who creates the work and loves the work is NOT the one who sells the work, you’ve left behind your natural self, you’ve split yourself in two, and you’ve entered a completely different identity when you go to do that, you go into who you think you’re “supposed to be”, or how you’re “supposed to do it”, you go into “business you” and you leave your fully-alive natural self out of that part of the process and you wonder why it feels dead to you??

It feels dead to you because part of you doesn’t want to be “business you”, they just want to be YOU. But you don’t fully believe you can be and thrive in business. Business you is this whole other identity, it’s like you’re that alien guy in the first Men In Black movie who puts on the skin suit that doesn’t fit him and hangs off him like an ill fitting costume, trying to talk through it and looks as completely awkward as it probably feels.

Part of you is like “get this f-ing suit off me!!!” - and as long as it feels like that, you don’t get to share this beautiful thing you do with more people who will LOVE this thing you do every bit as much as you do.

Those people don’t connect with skin-man though, because YOU don’t connect with it either! You love yourself and you don’t want anymore false connections in your life, you want real ones. And that begins with you.

It begins with you connecting this fully alive one that loves what you do with the ones who offers and sells your work, and having them be the same person. Imagine that! ❤️💗💞

In the old business model (and the old relationship model), you agreed to shelve/hide parts of yourself to serve and care for others. Clearly much of the world is still choosing that model (which is fine), but you are someone who is already aware you no longer have tolerance for that in your relationships or in your work, because you no longer have tolerance for it in your LIFE, and you recognize that your work and life are inseparable pieces of the whole of you. You are no longer willing to shelve parts of yourself to “get ahead” by the external definitions. You are all in on creating your own version of success, your most fulfilling rich life in every way, and nothing less than that is going to do.

Your body knows it already.
Your mind is catching up.
