What I Mean By: Make More, Doing Less, Being YOU.

Today I thought I’d revisit my tagline to break down what this means to ME (and always has), so you can decide what it is that it means to YOU.

I’m going to break it down in 3 parts:

Make More: to me this means make more of what you love – so that could mean make more art, make more impact, more creations, more money, more for your family, more inspiration… make more of the things you enjoy and that support you, and give you life!

It could be any of these things, and for me personally it is ALL OF THESE THINGS and more. And not only that, but I notice the more of one of these things there is, the more of all of them there are, they feed and nourish each other, the creativity makes more money, the money makes more creativity, more impact, more to enjoy, round and round they feed into each other. But not without the choice to move towards joy first! Because we all know money doesn’t automatically come with more joy, that is a decision and an aim that has been brought into my life and work with intention and devotion.

Doing Less: to me this means doing less of what you do not love, and more of what you do love. Because the only reason anyone wants to do less, is so they can do things they love! Nobody actually just wants to sit there for long, that would be so boring, 😂, once you’re rested and restored (which you absolutely need!) you want to put all that revitalized energy into something you are passionate about, something you care about, you want to do MORE of what is MEANINGFUL TO YOU.

So when I say ‘doing less’ it means re-directing your energy from where you may be pouring into things that are not aligned with your passions, because your passions always ENERGIZE you. Not drain you. Your passions are things nobody could stop you from doing if they tried!

I get excited when I feel jealousy come up because

I get excited when I feel jealousy come up because I know it’s revealing to me something that I want that I currently do not believe I can feel or experience/have. The pain of it is revealing where I don’t believe I have choices. So I get clear about what that is that I am wanting, and I write it down. Reminding myself that is ALL I need to do with it at that point.

Because it would NOT be exciting at ALL if I had to figure out how I was going to get to that felt or lived experience exactly, when I don’t know yet.

But it is exciting to set the intention, and to RELAX into trust around that once I’ve set that intention in energetic motion by writing it down, and know that it will begin unfolding, and I will be shown the ways and means as I stay open and receptive and move when I am called.

When we don’t believe we have a choice about something we don’t bother to make it our aim or intention a lot of times, because we feel utterly powerless about it and believe there is no solution. But that is the very acceptance you need in that moment, the total acceptance that you DO indeed have this desire and that you are owning it.

The minute you do that you restore a missing piece and part of your wholeness and power is returned to you. ❤️

How comfortable are you with silence? … My fello

How comfortable are you with silence? … My fellow introverts might say “outstanding! I love silence. Quiet alone time is so delicious, it’s my fave.”

That kind of silence meets you like a loving embrace, a sweet intimacy with yourself and your own world… a beloved friend, where you are always welcomed and accepted.

But other types of silence… maybe not so much. Like when you’ve shared something near and dear to you, or when someone in your life is being silent.

Not so comfortable with silence then, eh.

Recently I decided those silences get to be as full of love and welcome as the first kind. Because it is only my perception that makes it otherwise.

In the first scenario I have the story and view that I’m doing something good for me, and am surrounded in something good. In the other I have the perception that I’ve done something wrong or bad and am surrounded in something bad.

In both cases all I am meeting is silence. And what’s IN that silence: myself and my stories.

So wherever silence meets me, it’s a friend. It’s my love. Asking me to be with it. And with me. And to meet and rewrite the meanings I’ve imbued upon that space. Until that silence feels as sweet as my favorite kind.

The one where I’m connected to myself. ❤️
