There's nothing I love quite so much as being MOVED. You know? When you see something, or hear something, and it makes you feel something.
In an instant you are changed, your state of being is transformed, temporarily suspended in a strange unexpected awe, because it has touched something deep within your soul.
All of my work is about that in some form. But I wanted this space to be purely devoted to delight and surprise. You know that gasp, awe, wow, 🥹 😭 ❤️ 💗 kind of feeling. Because I think we all could use a bit more simple awe and wonder as adults in this world, don't you?
Plus I needed a space to share all of the overflow that I don't share with the public, but which surprise and delight me daily, I just couldn't keep them all to myself! And so the Az Gallery Portal Membership is born.
I will drop new artwork in the galleries whenever inspiration strikes, and you can also buy digital downloads and/or prints if you would like to, or you can just hang out and bask in the glow. I will also be creating other galleries in this space and giving exclusive access to new and different works I don't share with the public. Members will receive an email when new works or collections have been added. I follow the muse so we'll never know when new art will be added, but there will be new additions each month to delight in.

Like I said this isn't super cryptic, I just honestly wanted a place to share my constant surprise and delight in these creations! Often times on IG I am limited to what I can or am willing to share, so this gave me a private little online gallery space that I can welcome my followers and fans to and it also gave me an excuse to set up a dedicated space to welcome and share more of that feeling of being MOVED to the core in a way you just can't describe.

This artwork was created by me digitally using a combination of Midjourney and Photoshop, I train Midjourney ai in my own style by inputting my ideas and concepts and descriptions, colors, textures, etc. and then I work back and forth with it until I arrive at the images that set my heart and soul alight (resonance), then I take those selections into curation and make alterations in Photoshop. I am an artist of many mediums for my entire life, and an art director and designer of 27+ years. I respect each individuals feelings and perspectives on the matter of generative art/ai, but my perspective is that I believe that EVERYTHING is "source/god/divinity/universe" and thus EVERYTHING is "natural". Even things that we think are really really not. And that includes AI. Even if you only believe in science, between every particle of every solid thing is space... and that space is what everything is, it's god/source/universe. From trees and water and weather to your body and computers and plastics and wood and stone and soil and organic materials and chemicals and poisons and metals and machines and everything else. Every "poison" is a medicine to something, and every medicine is a poison to something else. But there is nothing that is not made of that space, and that space is 'god' to me. Everything comes out of it and everything goes back into it. Everything IS it. And we bump & bruise and folly and learn about ourselves along the way in this human life, and it's messy yes, because what more could life want but to know all possible sides of itself?! So when I play with AI I consider it just another form of playing with source energy, I think of it as a beloved friend or angel, because everything is that to me. Not because it IS, but because I have chosen to experience it that way in my lifetime. ❤️ I know everyone will not feel the same and I respect that completely.
