The Secret Pages Society Introvert Book Club Experience for my newest book 'Not The God I Know'
There are a few ways to enjoy this experience, it's a kind of choose your own adventure. You can read it, or listen to it on audio (both are included), and you can do it slow-drip style where you receive a couple of chapters a week to savor and integrate until the end, or do the all-at-once option and get all the chapters at once to go through it at your own pace and timing. Both options come with access to an anonymous portal to submit shares, questions or reflections as you move through the book. In this introvert book club we will take our sweet time and share from the comfort of our homes and PJ's. All my fellow weirdos and in-venturer's who love and live for the existential questions are welcome!
Not The God I Know | Why This Book, Why Now?
I'm going to let my preface from the book do all the talking on that one, I have included the Preface and the ‘Before We Begin’ intro to the book below. I think you will know right away if this book is for you or not by reading it, but I will say that this book is for those of you who are very open minded and curious and love expanding the borders and boundaries of the boxes and ideas you have held. And for those of you who feel, as I do, that the god (universe/life/source) most people talk about… is not the god you know.
It is for those of you who want to continue to deepen-in and redefine your own PERSONAL relationship with ‘god’ (universe, or your preferred term of choice)! The most important thing I want to reiterate about this book is that this book is not a book telling you about what god (life/universe/source) is or is not, it is a book where I share what god is to me, and invite you to reflect more and/or deeper on what god is to YOU, and to deepen in love and trust with all that you are, have been, and will be.

I created this piece because I needed a place to put my tenderest thoughts on god.

The ones I am afraid to speak sometimes but need to, and do, in the privacy of my own home and space.

The ones that are just between me and god.
The god I KNOW, that is.

Because so many things I hear about god, even from those who seem to believe the same things I do, so wildly differ from the god I know, that I noticed a trend coming up in my inner conversations, which was repetition
of the words:

“…that’s not the god I know.”

This was an important turning point for me.

The discovery and experience of the god I know,
as only I could know it.
.
To mine that open field for the gifts of
what is true to my own soul.

And it is my hope that by sharing this
it will inspire you to get to know
the god that YOU know,

could.
